Who are facials for?

Facials at SIMEHA Institut are for women and men who want to cleanse their skin in depth, hydrate it or bring back its glow. We offer ten facials for women and eight for men.

Every skin has its own needs: skin that feels tight, skin that shines, a dull complexion, dark spots, the first signs of ageing. You do not need to know your skin type before you come. The beautician looks at it with you and advises you.

Two treatments have their own page, because many people look for them: the Hydrafacial and the Kobido.

Which facials do we offer?

We offer treatments carried out with a device, manual treatments and a skin assessment. Here is what each name generally covers; the exact steps are explained to you at the start of the appointment.

  • Personalised skin assessment (30 min, CHF 49): time to look at your skin and choose the right treatment.
  • Hydrafacial Signature (1 h, CHF 149): a device-based treatment that generally combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration. See the Hydrafacial page.
  • Complete Hydra glow (1 h 30 min, CHF 199): the long version, in an hour and a half.
  • Kobido Expert Lift (1 h, CHF 139): a facial massage of Japanese origin, entirely manual. See the Kobido page.
  • Dark spot peel (1 h, CHF 159): a peel is generally an exfoliation that removes dead cells from the surface of the skin.
  • LED Therapy (30 min, CHF 69): a light-based treatment, with no contact.
  • Carboxy Therapy (1 h, CHF 129).
  • Hyaluronic acid skin booster (1 h, CHF 179).
  • Premium anti-ageing facial (1 h 30 min, CHF 189).
  • Discovery Pack: three sessions of 1 h 30 min, for CHF 450 in total.

For men, we add the energising facial (30 min, CHF 120). The other treatments are at the same prices as for women.

How do you choose your facial?

To choose a facial, start from what you expect: a cleanse, a glow, a moment to relax or work on dark spots. If you are unsure, book the skin assessment at CHF 49.

What happens during a facial at SIMEHA Institut?

A facial at the salon starts with a talk about your skin and your habits, then with a cleanse. The treatment itself takes from 30 min to 1 h 30 min, depending on the one you booked.

You are settled in a treatment room, lying down. The beautician explains each step before she starts it. At the end, she tells you what to keep doing at home until your next appointment.

Tips before and after a facial

Before a facial, it is generally best to avoid scrubs and sun exposure in the days before. After the treatment, leave your skin alone for the rest of the day.

Before your appointment:

  • note down the products you use, so you can talk about them with the beautician;
  • mention any treatment you are on, an allergy or a pregnancy;
  • for men, shave the day before rather than on the morning itself.

After your appointment:

  • avoid make-up for a few hours if you can;
  • protect your skin from the sun;
  • do not use a scrub in the days that follow;
  • drink water and keep your routine simple.
