This page explains which personal data the SIMEHA Institut website collects, why, and what your rights are. The site only collects what is needed to manage your appointment or to reply to your message.

Who is responsible for your data?

Which data is collected?

When you book a treatment

• your first name, your phone number and your email address;
• the treatment chosen, its duration, its price, and the date and time of the appointment.

This data is used only to manage your appointment: to send you the confirmation, to let you know if something comes up, and to keep the salon's diary. No payment is made online: the site collects no bank details.

When you send a message through the contact form

• your first name, your email address and the text of your message.

This data is used only to reply to you.

To protect the forms

To block automated submissions, the site keeps for a short time an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address a form was sent from. This fingerprint does not identify you and is not used for any other purpose.

Audience measurement

Audience measurement is only switched on if you accept it. Without your consent, no measurement tool is loaded. The details are in the cookie policy.

Who has access to your data?

Only the salon has access to appointment data and messages, from an area protected by a password. Your data is neither sold nor passed on. It is processed by the technical providers needed to run the site: the host of the site and of the database, and the service that sends the confirmation emails.

Your personal management link

The confirmation email contains a personal link that lets you view and cancel your appointment without a password. This link works as an access key: do not share it. The site only keeps an encrypted fingerprint of it.

How long is the data kept?

Appointment data is kept for as long as is needed to manage the appointment and to follow up the salon's clients. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

What are your rights?

In accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you can ask to see your data, to have it corrected or to have it deleted. Simply write to contact@simehainstitut.ch.

What the site keeps in your browser

So that you do not have to start again, your browser remembers during your visit the choice "Women" or "Men" and the treatment selected and, after a booking, the identifier of the last treatment booked so that it can be offered to you again. This information stays in your browser; you can delete it from its settings.
